Phos Hilaron Premieres to Sellout Audience at Kanuga
On a cool autumn evening in the mountains, Phos Hilaron premiered before a packed house November 15, 2008 at Kanuga Conferences in Hendersonville, NC. The performance followed two intense days of rehearsal at an Atlanta soundstage. Following rehearsal, five technicians from True Audio/Visual trucked in sound & light equipment, thirty-two choristers from the Georgia Tech Chamber Choir came by charter bus, and theologians John Dominic Crossan and Marcus Borg arrived by air to deliver their message of Christ’s emerging light in the darkness. This first look at Phos Hilaron served to keynote a weekend of lectures, worship, song and fellowship for Kanuga’s Lansing Lee Conference.
